Custom interface
A different look for the game window with a few quality-of-life extras. It is optional and in beta: the normal interface keeps working, and every server feature works with both.
At a glance
- Optional. Nothing on the server needs it and nobody gets an advantage from it.
- Files only. It replaces the interface files in your
systemfolder. No extra programs, no DLLs. - Easy to undo. Put the normal files back and you have the classic look again.
- Beta. It works, but expect rough edges. Report anything odd with
.bug. - A 30 MB download, about 200 MB once unpacked, most of it window art.
- Built on a community interface shared on L2JBrasil, trimmed and extended for this server. Its client-side auto potion, auto buff and auto skill windows are removed: use
.configand Auto-farm instead.
What it adds
Inventory search
Type part of an item name in the box at the bottom of your inventory. Matching items from every tab show up; double-click to use one, click a tab to go back.
Remove a buff
Hold Alt and click a buff to remove it. Debuffs cannot be removed this way.
Drop list
A small button on the target window opens the drops and spoil of that monster, the same list as .drops.
Auto-farm button
Opens the Auto-farm window from the menu bar in the bottom right.
Damage numbers
Damage, heals, misses and criticals float over your target. Each kind can be turned off in Options.
Cast bar
Shows the skill you are casting and how long is left.
Radar map
A small map of the area around you. Can be hidden in Options.
Exp bar
EXP percent, a click-to-show adena total, and an item counter: drag any item onto it to see how many you carry.
Quest tracker
Your active quests and their item counts on screen.
Session report
When you log out or restart: EXP, adena and items gained this session.
Player menu
Right-click a player for trade, friend invite and Olympiad record.
Target HP numbers
The target window shows HP as numbers and percent next to the bar.
English options
Every option and skill-window label is in English; the extra Damage tab lets you pick which numbers float over you and your target.
Forever Lineage look
One loading screen with the harbour art and the FL mark, and the FL logo on the login screen.
The drop list does not need this interface: type .drops in chat with a monster targeted.
Install
- Close the game.
- Download the interface below.
- Unpack it into your Lineage II game folder, the one that contains
system, and replace the files when asked. Same as the System download. - Start the game. The client reads these files only at startup.
Go back to the normal UI
- Close the game.
- In the
systemfolder deleteL2UI.u,L2UI_CH3.uandPatchSettings.ini. - Download System from the home page again and unpack it into the game folder. It brings back the normal
interface.uandinterface.xdat.
Questions
- Do I need it? No. It changes how the game looks, not what you can do. Every command and window on this server works without it.
- Can I use other interfaces? Yes, at your own risk. Many of them need extra DLL files that hook into the game; this one does not.
- Something looks wrong? Type
.bugwith a short description, or go back to the normal UI with the steps above.
