Custom potions

Beyond shop potions you can craft stronger tiers. Materials drop from monsters and come from Bounty Hunt; the Alchemist sells bottles and recipe scrolls.

Overview

  • Custom HP and MP potions in several tiers — stronger than what the shop sells.
  • Basic potions (Lesser, Normal) come from the Universal Shop.
  • Higher tiers (Greater, Quick, Divine Elixir) are crafted.
  • Heal-over-time potions and instant potions have separate cooldowns — you can use both at the same time.

Alchemist NPC

Found in every major city, just like the Buffer and Shop. The Alchemist sells two things:

  • Empty Alchemy Bottles — bought with adena. Needed for every craft.
  • Recipe scrolls — bought with crafting materials (Magic Dust, Concentrated Magic Dust, Pure Alchemy Essence, Philosopher's Stone Fragments). Use a scroll to learn the recipe permanently.

Getting materials

  • Materials drop from monsters — higher-level zones drop higher-tier materials.
  • Bounty Hunt turn-ins also reward materials.
  • The rarest material (Philosopher's Stone Fragments) comes from high-level Long bounties and is needed for Divine Elixir recipes.

How to craft

  1. Buy a recipe scroll from the Alchemist and use it to learn the recipe.
  2. Open the Common Craft window (available to all classes).
  3. Select the potion — each craft produces 50 potions and uses bottles + materials + MP.
